Lauren from Inner Worlds Arts Therapy is excited to facilitate a beautiful new workshop at Foundations and Friends.

💜HeART Journal Club is a 6-week creative arts therapy group designed for tween and teen girls who enjoy art, creativity, and expressing themselves in neuro-affirming, supportive spaces.

⏰Fridays | 4:00–5:00pm

🗓️6 weeks: Feb 20 + 27 | March 6, 13, 20 & 27

Art journals provide a powerful container for self-expression, sensory exploration, imaginative play, and storytelling.

Across the 6 weeks, participants will be gently guided through:

🎨Big-kid-friendly mixed media art techniques

🖌️Therapeutic art prompts encouraging curiosity and self-reflection

✨Creative freedom that embraces mess, imperfection, and individuality

All materials are supplied, including A4 & A5 art journals — and yes, there will be glitter and stickers! 💖

🌈About the facilitator: Lauren is a Creative Arts Therapist and Clinical Counsellor, specialising in creative, neuro-affirming support for children and young people. All of Lauren’s workshops are thoughtfully designed to be community-minded, inclusive, and neuro-friendly.

The group will also have an Allied Health Assistant, providing additional support, scaffolding, and a calm, inclusive group experience.

Cost: $74–$92 per session (Price depends on enrolment numbers, NDIS participants welcome!)
