Neuro-affirming Psychoeducation Workshops

Are you a fellow creative and experiential therapist or member of allied health, a school or university teacher or a small community-focused organisation that would like to know how to be more neuro-friendly?

Find out how you can best support neurodivergent clients, as well as your neurodivergent staff and colleagues, too!

✨Energy differences, spikey profiles and how neurodivergent disability needs are dynamic

✨Neuro-affirming language, e.g “co-occurring” rather than “co-morbid”

✨Communication, social, information processing and learning differences

✨Externalised and internalised and co-occurring presentations of various disabilities

✨Shifting sense of self and identity that often occurs with internalised neurodivergence

✨Emotional regulation, inspired by Polyvagal and Sensorimotor therapies

✨The intersections of neurodivergence, disability and trauma

✨The intersections of sexuality and gender expression within neurodivergence

✨The medical model of disability versus the social model of disability

✨How traditional cognitive and behaviour-based therapies, such as CBT and DBT, do not work for many neurodivergent individuals

… and so much more!

We can also review together:

✨Your creative, experiential and expressive processes

✨Your body language and communication style
